About BC PNP
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an immigration program intended to facilitate qualified foreign workers and entrepreneurs relocating to British Columbia in Canada. There are multiple streams within BC PNP available for individuals that possess talents, abilities, resources that could make an important economic contribution within British Columbia’s borders.
Individuals applying to the BC PNP must demonstrate they can support themselves financially in British Columbia. Legal status in Canada as well as language proficiency equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 or above will also be necessary, depending on which stream one applies under. Applicants may be required to provide proof of education, work experience, business plans or investment funds during this process.
As soon as an application has been accepted, the BC PNP will issue a nomination certificate that can then be used to apply for permanent residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Furthermore, successful BC PNP applicants can bring spouses/common-law partners as well as dependent children under 19 into Canada as permanent residents under its family reunification initiative.

BC PNP Scoring
The BC PNP Points System is based on factors such as age, language ability, education, work experience, and other criteria. Recent draws have been conducted mainly for the Tech Pilot Program with invitations issued to applicants with a score of at least 72 points. Applicants are required to pay application fees while applying through the BC PNP program.
