It's a permit for managers, specialists and trainees transferred within a multinational group from a non-EU entity to a Greek branch or subsidiary, valid up to three years (one year for trainees), with EU mobility.
The ICT Permit (Intra-Corporate Transfer) is for staff moved within the same multinational group from a non-EU entity to a Greek branch or subsidiary. To qualify you need prior employment in the group — 12 months for managers and specialists, 6 months for trainees — an assignment as a manager, specialist or trainee, remuneration no lower than that of comparable Greek employees, and an employer that is legally established in Greece and in good standing.
The permit is valid for up to three years for managers and specialists, and up to one year for trainees, and it carries mobility within the EU for related assignments. Processing is generally 90 days. The permit fee is EUR 150 plus a EUR 16 card fee, with a EUR 180 entry visa.
This route is specifically for intra-group transfers; if you are being hired directly by a Greek employer rather than transferred internally, the EU Blue Card or the employed-worker permit would apply instead. Conditions and fees are reviewed periodically, so confirm current details on the official portals. ACME can help your company structure an intra-corporate transfer to Greece correctly.
