For non-EEA nationals, Norway's principal labour-migration route is the Skilled Worker residence permit. You generally need completed vocational training, a university or university-college degree, or equivalent special qualifications, plus a concrete job offer in Norway for a position that requires those qualifications, with pay and conditions no poorer than Norwegian norms. The application is made to UDI. Some occupations also require separate Norwegian professional authorisation. Confirm the current requirements on the official UDI website before applying.
