Overview

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), formerly known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), is a provincial initiative designed to nominate individuals for permanent residence in Alberta. It targets prospective immigrants who possess the skills and work experience required by the province.

There are various options available via AAIP under two main streams:

  • Stream for workers
  • Stream for entrepreneurs

Alberta: A Land of Opportunity and Natural Wonders

Alberta, situated in Western Canada, is a vibrant and resource-rich province known for its stunning landscapes and thriving economy. It is home to Calgary and Edmonton, two of Canada’s major metropolitan hubs, and stands as the most populous among the Prairie provinces. Alberta’s breathtaking natural scenery, including iconic national parks like Jasper and Banff, makes it a top destination for nature lovers.

To attract skilled newcomers, the province runs the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), previously known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. This initiative allows eligible individuals with in-demand skills and experience to be nominated for Canadian permanent residence through Alberta’s immigration streams.
