Yukon Express Entry (YEE)

  • Attain a minimum language score of IELTS Level 6 (English) or TEF Level 4 (French).

  • Possess a minimum of three years of entrepreneurial or business management experience.

  • Have at least five years of work experience directly related to the proposed business.

  • Hold a net worth of at least CAD $500,000, verified by a Yukon-based accounting firm.

  • Own minimum liquid assets of CAD $300,000, also verified by a Yukon-based accounting firm.

  • Provide proof that the net worth and liquid assets were legally acquired.

  • Submit a Resettlement Plan that outlines the applicant’s commitment to living in Yukon.

  • Show a genuine intention to permanently settle in Yukon and actively manage a business in the territory.

Yukon Community Pilot

  • Be nominated by the Yukon territorial government.

  • Hold two or three valid job offers located in the same participating Yukon community.

  • Obtain a signed letter of support from the Yukon government.

  • Fulfill all eligibility requirements for a work permit.

  • The combined job offers must provide a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

  • All jobs must be non-seasonal in nature.

  • Each job must offer a wage that meets or exceeds the minimum wage.

  • You must have relevant work experience that proves your ability to carry out the duties of the positions offered.
