Immigrate to Canada with the Yukon Nominee Program (YNP)

Yukon Express Entry

• Meet the eligibility criteria of one of Canada’s three federal economic immigration programs.

• Have a valid Express Entry profile in the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) system.

• Show proof of sufficient funds to support yourself and any accompanying family members after arriving in Canada.

• Hold a valid, full-time, permanent job offer from an eligible employer in Yukon.

• Demonstrate a clear intention to live and work permanently in Yukon.

Yukon Skilled Worker Program

• Possess the necessary education and work experience for the position (at least a high school diploma).

• Have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience for the job being offered.

• Hold a valid work permit if currently residing in Canada.

• Secure a valid, full-time job offer from an eligible Yukon employer.

• Meet the minimum language proficiency requirements for the job.

• The employer must also fulfill specific eligibility conditions.

Yukon Critical Impact Worker Program

• Have a valid permanent, full-time job offer from an eligible Yukon employer.

• Possess the required education and work experience for the position (minimum of a high school diploma).

• Have at least six months of relevant work experience related to the job being offered.

• If currently in Canada, hold a valid work permit.

• Meet the minimum language requirements in either English or French.

• The employer must also fulfill specific program requirements to support the application.

Business Nominee Program

• Score a minimum of 65 points on the Nominee Assessment Grid.

• Secure at least 10 points for language proficiency on the Nominee Assessment Grid.

• Attain a minimum language score of IELTS Level 6 (English) or TEF Level 4 (French).

• Possess a minimum of three years of entrepreneurial or business management experience.

• Have at least five years of work experience directly related to the proposed business.

• Hold a net worth of at least CAD $500,000, verified by a Yukon-based accounting firm.

• Own minimum liquid assets of CAD $300,000, also verified by a Yukon-based accounting firm.

• Provide proof that the net worth and liquid assets were legally acquired.

• Submit a Resettlement Plan that outlines the applicant’s commitment to living in Yukon.

• Show a genuine intention to permanently settle in Yukon and actively manage a business in the territory.

Yukon Community Pilot

• Be nominated by the Yukon territorial government.

• Hold two or three valid job offers located in the same participating Yukon community.

• Obtain a signed letter of support from the Yukon government.

• Fulfill all eligibility requirements for a work permit.

• The combined job offers must provide a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

• All jobs must be non-seasonal in nature.

• Each job must offer a wage that meets or exceeds the minimum wage.

• You must have relevant work experience that proves your ability to carry out the duties of the positions offered.
